God is doing a mighty work in the Philippines

In 1979, Dr. Mike was holding his first crusade in Manila. Brother Eddie had just established Jesus is Lord Fellowship now Jesus is Lord Worldwide ministries. And Brother Nards was the new CEO of GMA TV. Since then Dr. Mike established Promise Christian University. Brother Eddie was congressman and now heads the largest church in the world, and Bro. Nards and his company builds skyscrapers!

Mrs. Kay Jimenez was also recipient of the Promise Christian University Humanitarian Award for 2026. Her generous donations to worthy causes has included research on the development of sustainable low cost housing made from Bamboo which is one of the most study natural building materials in the world. Congratulations!

In 1979, Bishop Eddie Villanueva and Dr. Michael McKinney had the privilege of meeting Mr. Nards Jimenez at the GMA studio in Manila. For 46 years we have respected and honored Mr. Jimenez and his wife, Caroline for their awesome humanitarian work in the Philippines. This past October is was our privilege to honor him with the Promise Christian University, Humanitarian Award for 2024 and the Doctor of Humane Letters Degree. Well deserved for more than 50 years of service to God and Country!

Dr. Jackie is also Chief of Chaplains MG Jackie Hornsby with the United States Volunteers Joint Service Command.

HOPE WELCOMES PROMISE ​

Promise also has an agreement with Hope International University to welcome qualified Bachelor graduates into the Master of Ministry Program. This is especially wonderful for Pastors thinking of entering active military duty. Dr, Grana and Dr. McKinney.

Dr. Diwa Guinigundo, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Phillippines was the keynote speaker at the 1st Promise Governance Conference in Ontario, California, June 2018. Promise Christian University was honored to award him the 1st Promise Governance Award for Asia and also he received the Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters for his outstanding leadership in Governance. of the Central Bank of the Philippines share the importance of Biblical Value and Principles in Good Governance. He joins the many outstanding leaders recognized by Promise Christian University for their service to God and Country.
